10th Bamberg Suzuki Days – An anniversary filled with music and encounters
For the tenth time, the Bamberg Municipal Music School is inviting participants to the Bamberg Suzuki Days. The long-established workshop weekend has become a permanent meeting place for Germany’s Suzuki community and will once again bring together young musicians, families and teachers from all over Germany this year.
The event focuses on making music together, the joy of learning and meeting other Suzuki families. Children and young people learning the violin, viola, cello or flute according to the Suzuki Method will receive valuable musical inspiration from an experienced teaching team in group lessons, instrumental classes and ensembles. Shinichi Suzuki’s idea can be experienced here in a special way: music as a language that connects people and strengthens children in their personal development.
In addition to the intensive musical work, the weekend offers numerous opportunities to get to know one another and exchange ideas. Many families appreciate the warm atmosphere of the Bamberg Suzuki Days and use the event to renew old friendships and make new contacts within the Suzuki community.
The festive conclusion is the public final concert, at which the young musicians present the results of their rehearsals together. The concert provides an impressive demonstration of how much joy, motivation and musical quality can emerge through learning together. Admission is free; donations in support of the music school’s work are welcome.
